It is a great honour for me to welcome you to Spain, and in particular to Maspalomas, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, on the occasion of the EJU Ordinary Congress. For the Royal Spanish Judo Federation, it is a privilege to host you in our country and to contribute to the development
of this important institutional event for European judo.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your collaboration and for the continuous work you carry out in support of our sport. The strength of European judo lies in the unity, commitment, and shared vision of all of you, and this gathering is yet another demonstration of that spirit.
I would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, through the Instituto Insular de Deportes, for its valuable support and commitment to the organisation of this Congress. Their collaboration has been essential in making this event possible and reflects Gran Canaria’s strong commitment to the promotion of International sport.
I wish you a pleasant and productive stay in Maspalomas, and I hope you will enjoy not only the Congress, but also the hospitality and beauty of Gran Canaria.
